Just a quick reminder about our inclement weather procedures.

Dolphins will swim in the rain. Practices will continue in light rain. However, we do not swim during thunderstorms or lightning.

Pool policy requires the deck to be cleared for lightning, but we also encourage clearing the deck anytime there is thunder or lightning nearby.

If we are able to cancel practice ahead of time, we will notify families by:

• Facebook Group
• Band

Please note that the pool must remain closed for 30 minutes after each occurrence of thunder, even if the storm passes and the sun comes back out.

If thunder or storms begin during practice, the pool will be cleared immediately. If you drop your swimmer off at practice, please remind them to stay with a coach until a parent arrives so we can ensure everyone’s safety.
