Dolphin Families-

We have opened the Volunteer Job sign-up for our first home meet of the season hosting the Ridgewood Barracudas. 

With significant changes to the volunteering, we are only opening one meet to make sure everything works correctly. Some of the most notable changes-

• No more hours, it is points. (8 points per family per season) The number of points is equal to approximately 16 hours of volunteering per season. (That includes the mandatory Divisional shift for participating families.)
• No more signing up for a specific job, e.g. "Timer Lane 5". Now Families sign up for a team such as Concessions, Clerk of Course, Timing, etc. Team Leads will make the assignments for specific roles in their areas.
• We now need fewer volunteers each meet. The entire Scoring and Verifying team is not needed. There will be a streamlined Clerk of Course and a few other tweaks to some positions to make everything easier and faster. 

On our website, the Volunteering page under the Families tab has descriptions of job duties and other information. (Remember to be signed in to view.) New Families-highly recommend you read. No idea where to start? Timing and Recording are great job for rookie parents.

To find the Job Sign-ups for this season's meets, select the Meets & Team Calendar page under the Meets & Calendar tab. Find the June 14th meet and click the green JOB SIGNUP button.
