Dear Dolphin Families,

It certainly has been a chilly opening weekend at the pool
and mother nature must not know we are starting practice this week. The weather forecast looks chilly and wet
this week. Practice will be canceled on
Wednesday due to the forecasted low 60 degree temperatures and rain. We will attempt to hold practice tomorrow,
but we will not be spending 45 minutes in the water. If it is not raining, we will do get to know
you activities and some dry land work.
For those swimmers that want to get in the water, we will hold a short
in water practice. You know your child best, please decide what works best for
them. They are not required to attend
practice this week and we completely understand if you think it is too cold.

Thursday the air temperatures look better, but there is a
chance of thunderstorms. With our new platform
we do not have the ability to send out text messages about weather
cancelations. For weather related cancelations,
I will send out (in this order) an email and post a notice on the website, send
a push message (you need to enable notifications from Swimtopia to get these),
post to our Active Parent Facebook Page, and then post in the BAND App.

Please consider joining our Active Parent Facebook page and
our new Band App. These options will
help me and the board communicate important information. The Facebook page is a great place to network
with other Dolphin parents, ask questions, post pictures and stay up to date on
all things Dolphin. The Band app will be
set to only posting notifications.

Save the date for our Season Kick off Picnic, Parent Meeting
and after hour swim! Sunday, June 1^st
from 6:30 – 9:00. Please join us for
pizza and a parent meeting in front of the clubhouse from 6:30-8:00. We will also have some dry activities for the
swimmers during this time. We will have
the Snowie Shaved Ice truck there if you would like to purchase a snow cone. From
8:00- 9:00 we will head into the pool for a private swim after hours party. PLEASE RSVP by

If you are unable to attend the parent meeting on June 1^st,
we will be offering two during practices the following week. Even seasoned parents may want to attend one
since we have a new platform and some important changes.
