Off-Season 2026-27

When? Sundays, starting September 13th through May 2nd. No swim dates: 29 November 20th and 27th December, 3 January 2027, 14 February 21st and 28th March.

Where? Central Park Aquatic Center located at 10371 Central Park Dr., Manassas 20110 (5 minutes from Wellington pool). We are NOT at Colgan, so don't drive there and wonder where everyone is. 

Cost: $240 per swimmer

Are there any prerequisites for participation? Yes. The program accepts Competitive swimmers from 2026 Summer Season; Mini Dolphins who are: 6 and older; MUST be able to swim 25 meters unassisted. Intention is to be on Competitive Team in 2027, not another season as a Mini. Coach Wendy must approve the Minis before registration. (Reach out to her at [email protected] to inquire if your swimmer qualifies.)

How Many?  Program caps at 46 swimmers due to lane capacity. Limited to 8 Minis who will have a dedicated lane.

Is there a multi-swimmer discount? What about refunds?  Because the lanes are pre-paid and rented based on program size, we are unable to offer the multi-swimmer discount or refunds.

Friday, July 24th is our traditional PJs and Pancakes Breakfast

There is no need to get dressed for this event! Roll right out of bed and come as you are in your favorite Pajamas. As part of our last practice before Divisionals, and our last practice of the 2025 Dolphin Summer Season, we have pancakes, fruit, sausage and bacon and juice for all our swimmers.

PARENTS-we need your help! We need set-up/clean-up helpers and servers.

For those who will prepare food, the team will coordinate with you to provide the supplies/ingredients. You just have to pick it up from the pool and cook it. Our Concessions Lead also spearheads the food for this. She will reach out to you and coordinate the hand-off for what you need.

July 21 After Morning Practice: Dolphin Cookie Exchange

Ready to dive into something sweet? Join us right after morning practice for our Dolphin Cookie Exchange! Whether you’re a master baker or a proud “store-bought and still awesome” shopper, this is your time to shine. 

Here’s the deal: Bring 3 dozen cookies, Leave with 3 dozen DIFFERENT cookies (upgrade unlocked!)

Don’t forget a card with ingredients (because teammates > tummy troubles) 

Bonus fun: Mrs. Ball is bringing decorating bags AND some gluten-free/allergy-friendly treats—so everyone can join the sugar rush! Think of it: trade your backstroke for a snack-stroke, hang with your teammates, and build the ultimate cookie stash. Warning: May cause extreme happiness, powdered sugar fingers, and strong opinions about chocolate chips. Don’t flake—participate!
